Immigration certainly. It's a great thing for the country.

I also believe in more money for public services, only I think this can only be achieved with a strong economy and, currently, I see Labours economic policies as a disaster waiting to happen if they were ver enacted.

Don’t disagree with that. My issue is I find the conservative ones that too, mainly down to their Brexit path. That and I do have serious concerns about potential changes to the constitution they reference in their manifesto.
The latter.

I spoke with Lisa Smart, LibDem candidate and really like her, she’s massively concentrating on local issues and has some good ideas.

The local Tory voted against EU migrant rights and I have two EU migrants that report into me so can’t be having that.

Still expecting a Tory majority in the morning.

I’m tired of it all.

I ended up doing the same.

I’ve answered exactly your concern there in the post you replied to (and in my first post today on it) and said if you’re on a crusade to stop media sensationalisation and the detachment of editorial opinion and news, then I’m more than happy to join that. At least read the full article though. That and I’m not sure why you’re picking this one story out, I’ll refer back to the questions I asked before on that - do you do it for every headline and article in the tabloids?

My whole issue is your questioning of the mother. You do know the Mirror found the story from the local newspaper don’t you? As in, the mother didn’t proactively go to the national media and try and politicise it. In fact, the original article doesn’t do anything like that. That’s also why the NHS apologised for it, because her complaint was worthy of an apology.

That is exactly my issue with your perception of it. You are making the mother complicit with no sound basis for it and rather than it just be about a sensationalist headline, you’re deflecting from what the actual story is. If you’d kept to the Mirror has sensationalised this, then there’s no argument to be had aside from the question of whether you do that for everything.
The mother took the picture, allowed the Mirror to use it and gave them an exclusive interview to go with their front page false headlines. The reason I persist is that it is such a blatant pack of lies and the issue I have with you is you have consistently tried to defend both the Mirror and the parents.

If you believe the bookies (Conservative majority 4/11, Labour majority 16/1; and yes, bookies have been known to get it wrong), and the Tories stroll in to Downing Street, would Corbyn walk? A hugely unpopular Tory party, deeply divided, and yet he couldn't force them out. It'd be pretty damning. And if he didn't walk, would the anti Corbyn faction in the parliamentary party try to organise a heave against him? Given that he seems popular with the rank and file up and down the country, such a heave might not be advisable.

I ended up doing the same.
Me too.
John Leech is a blue with a ST which proves his credentials.
Not that that’s the reason. He’s got a long track record of fighting for the constituency either as an MP or as the councillor for the area and leader of the opposition on Manchester Council. There’s only 2 of them but that’s not his fault.
