Funny thing is if we all (& I mean the UK) had a vote they'd probably get their wish but could they survive without all our money?

Another just Scottish vote will change nothing as they'll not take the plunge, a bit like 'hold me back' at a football match.

Unfortunately you have it the wrong way round..... The North Sea Oil fields (with an estimated 100 years worth of oil reserves) are in Scotlands waters .... since they were discovered we have been trousering the cash ... if Scotland leaves we will lose those revenues estimated to be worth around £1 trillion off the West coast alone.

I predicted 60 plus the other day, even so, it was still a relief to see the exit poll prediction.

No more lockdown in the House and no more Corbyn.

Fantastic result. Labour now trying the massive deflection of using Brexit as the cause.

It was certainly a factor in some areas, but this was more a statement from the country that they don't trust a Labour party who are a relic from the past and still had little awareness last night when addressing the assembled as 'comrades'.

Labour have been in power once in 50 years if Boris doesn't fuck it up over the next five years.

That says it all.

It isn't just the fact they were offering a second referendum, it's the fact that Labour has been playing hide and seek on Brexit for the last 2 and a half years.

They have been punished not only because they had an incoherent policy but because for 2 years they had no policy on the biggest issue of the day.

The turn out is always something that interests me 67.2% at present.

That means that 15,608,619 people did not bother to vote. That is more than the populations of Belgium, Greece and Portugal to name just three.

I know that there are valid reasons for some of those non-votes but it is a national disgrace that so many just do not bother.

How utterly fucking depressing. England has spoken. But so has Scotland. Now we have a constitutional crisis as well as fucking Brexit. Happy days ....
Not a problem for me let the jocks fvck off they are too small to be a stand alone country and tpo small for the EU to accept them.
Btw they need to sort out their own currency. Good luck with that.

Makes the election null and void. Think we should have a confirmatory second people's vote.

People (a sizeable section anyway) are disillusioned and disaffected by the body politic, of whatever hue. They don't think that mainstream politicians can truly represent them. But yes; the right to vote is to be cherished, and you really should exercise that right.

Why not just evict the non-voters as they are obviously not interested in the country? That would reduce the strain on the NHS, Social Services, Education and the Police Force at a single stroke.
