The turn out is always something that interests me 67.2% at present.

That means that 15,608,619 people did not bother to vote. That is more than the populations of Belgium, Greece and Portugal to name just three.

I know that there are valid reasons for some of those non-votes but it is a national disgrace that so many just do not bother.

I don’t think it is. I didn’t vote as both tory’s and labour are both full of shit, all politicians are. I voted for brexit three years ago and we still haven’t left due to to them idiots in Westminster. There’s people like me and just a lot of people don’t care for some rich snobs arguing with each other in parliament.

You called me an anti-Semite and never apologised for it and carried it on.

My 'mate' wouldn't say that about me, so let's not not communicate in any way.

Thanks.

You admitted it yourself. You said whatever Corbyn has done I share his views so I said if that’s the hill you wish to die on, be an antisemite.

People (a sizeable section anyway) are disillusioned and disaffected by the body politic, of whatever hue. They don't think that mainstream politicians can truly represent them. But yes; the right to vote is to be cherished, and you really should exercise that right.
Absolutely, when you read about what our forefathers (and mothers) went through to obtain the vote it is beholding on us all to use it.

Oh I don’t know. The SNP love it.
Yes they got the magnificent quota of 2.6% of the registered electorate.

When you compare that with the Liberal's getting 7.7% they do not look that great.

SNP = 48 seats, LIB DEM = 11 seats, system unfair? It certainly is.

Unfortunately you have it the wrong way round..... The North Sea Oil fields (with an estimated 100 years worth of oil reserves) are in Scotlands waters .... since they were discovered we have been trousering the cash ... if Scotland leaves we will lose those revenues estimated to be worth around £1 trillion off the West coast alone.
And how will Scotland defend those waters with no navy, no army, no nuclear nuclear deterrent and no currency?

I do love how the same left wing nutters who insist the UK, (primarily financed through England) one of the most powerful nations in the world, is suicidal to leave Europe but in the same breath think Scotland will prosper alone. No Scottish NHS, length of accession to join the EU - English refusal to allow EU on to our door step - none of it matters in la la land does it?

Why not just evict the non-voters as they are obviously not interested in the country? That would reduce the strain on the NHS, Social Services, Education and the Police Force at a single stroke.
It is surprising seeing as we were told stations were 20x busier than usual.

Labour spin?
