That we keep seeing and hearing about it confirms that, it is indeed, insanity, even Corbyn can't bring himself to sayVic this cancelling of Trident is the kind of insanity that keep Corbyn well and truly out of number 10. To even consider giving up our nuclear weapons in todays world is absolute lunacy.
I think you are simply wrong Bob. You have an opinion based on your own speculations and so do others, with equally valid opinions. Your just restating your position endlessly does not make it correct.
However, if we adopt the position you favour, and you are wrong then the consequences could be incalculable. If we adopt my position and I am wrong, no harm is done.
That we keep seeing and hearing about it confirms that, it is indeed, insanity, even Corbyn can't bring himself to say
he'd outright ban it, just that we'd have it, but under no circumstances use it. Which makes about as much sense as getting
a deal that basically keeps us in the single market and customs union, ie; remain, then campaign against it.
Having a deterrent that you've just announced to the world you won't use is like having an army that just uses sticks and shouts 'Bang.'
Really, is that true?Labour exploring plans to ban private jets from UK airports.
Fuckers! How the hell am I meant to get back into the country from my holidays?
I think several posters have proved the opposite ? Or if you prefer ...the plain opposite ??Wrong, wrong and just plain wrong again.
That sounds like garbled nonsense to me, to be honest. It isn’t the same. Not having it means it will never be used as there is nothing to use. Saying you won’t use it under any circumstances just means you won’t use it at the time of speaking. It is not a guarantee of how someone will react in an actual crisis or when weapons have already been used.
No PM really knows how they will react.
But doesn't it rely on American GPRS? .and if we exit the Eu we will not be able to use Galileo .... and just what happens if the Americans say no ?
In a fast moving, constantly escalating crisis where the use of nuclear weapons is becoming likely the idea that a letter written months ago is the basis of a Captain’s decision is not reassuring.
Seriously can we stop playing fantasy ‘Submarine Commander’ and get back to reality?
It won't matter because the missiles don't use GPS, the missiles have their own guidance system.
