I did read the article.

Did the Tories pledge to build 200,000 starter homes? Yes. Did they pass the legislation required and use subsidies earmarked for the scheme to build the starter homes? No. Did builders in the absence of supporting legislation/subsidies build more expensive homes? Well obviously. Did the Tories keep to their pledge? No.

Have hundreds of thousands of affordable homes actually been built? Yes.

But not as fast as your grip on reality.

Right wing support "disappearing"? Your post above says everything we need to know.

Thought that might get a reply !! It's a shame you are not as quick to answer actual direct questions , for someone who likes to portray themselves as an expert you seem to run away when actual valid questions are asked ? Ever thought of running as a Tory MP , you have all the attributes ?

Based upon what? That we've just come through a period of 9 years of restrained public spending? Or do you have any actual data or logic to back up your assertion? My guess is you're simply trotting out the same old Marxist Corbyn lies.
Evidence based logic mate. Based on what Johnson says he is going to do then what actually happens. Btw Corbyn is almost as bad in my view.

Are these hundreds of thousands affordable homes built in the last decade marketed as ‘starter homes’ aimed at the under 40’s with a 20% discount? I did note the extended period, the lack of specifics as to what constituted ‘affordable’ and no attempt to pretend these homes fell into the category of the pledge made by the Govt.

Was the article and headline one-sided? Yes.

If you want to make a big deal over it, knock yourself out. I've better things to do with my time right now.
