I've voted lib dem. It's a real shame they aren't in the right shape to capitalise as this should have been a perfect situation to increase their share. There's just such a lack of quality across the political spectrum at the minute.
Ah, Lib Dem who want to stay in the EU despite the country voting out and whose answer to the immigration problems is to bring in 10,000 refugees a year? That Lib Dem?

Exactly. I don't know what ric's Facebook is like but I've not had one person tell me to vote Tory on my wall.

I must have had 20+ tell me to vote labour as their status or profile picture.

I rarely use Facebook to be honest, so can't really comment on that, and my Twitter feed is admittedly something of an echo chamber of Labour supporters.

I was referring to Bluemoon more specifically though. The poll suggests that there are far more Labour voters on here, but it often feels to me like political threads are disproportionately dominated by the right. Evidently some disagree with that though so I guess it's a matter of perception!

I haven't voted for the first time, unless the thousands of pensioners change their vote mine would not matter anyway
Aren't you usually one of the more vocal in getting people to vote because people died for the vote or have I imagined that?

You have until 10pm, use it to save the NHS!

That's not Facebooks fault. You just have vocal annoying lefty friends - click the 'hide future posts' on them , would like the option for a few on here ;)
I don't blame Facebook.

The point was that those on the 'right' don't shout loudest in my opinion despite ric's protestations.

Please do try and keep up Mark. As I pointed out to one earlier that said I could unfollow them "do you think Facebook is a platform to badger people and just get pats on the back from those that agree with you? If you said that in a pub, as a mate, I'd disagree and debate with you, I wouldn't ignore you and walk out of the pub and not listen to anything you you had to say from this point forward ."

Shite election system fella
I think it's the fairest way - each region needs it's interests equally represented. Just the options are usually shit and blur into one.

We could have it as it is now, but have a president from the party with the most votes for international affairs (and their own ministers). I think it's fair to address domestic and international matters separate.

Thinking about it, you may have some point.

When the election was called (and all the sad twats such as myself, Len and Genie hurried on to the thread), the split was very very even.

It's only widened to such a Labour lead once all of the (plastics is entirely the wrong label so I'll say) 'less entrenched politically' voted (who may not normally visit off topic so much).

Although as someone you'd consider right wing, my perception is that the political threads are usually dominated by those on the left.

What do they propose better than a Labour government ?

I prefer their position on tax, tuition fees and freedom of movement of people and access to the single market.

That's the one :) Although I don't think a second referendum would happen anyway, I think they would go for single market access and freedom of movement. I get why leave voters won't vote for them. I wasn't a leave voter though and still agree with free movement of people within the EU.

No thats not me,i'm a labour member but i can't vote for corbyn and they are so far behind the tories here that it really won't matter anyway
