I know quite a few people who are fucking brutal round a conference table but rubbish in front of an audience. But they wisely haven't chosen a career in politics.
Indeed. Having charisma and being good in front of an audience should be one of your core competences. Let's face it, she only got the job by not being unelectable unlike everyone else (for a variety of reasons) who stood for the leadership.

A sort of Jim Hacker of the Tory party.

I think sometimes we forget that she fell into the job due to a variety of people backing out rather than through her own popularity.

She'll still twat Corbyn by probably 80-100 seats but just goes to show the weird world of politics.

she fell into the job because she wasn't one of the other candidates if you get my drift

Well, at least we agree on something. Still, blows away all this country coming together bollocks, don't you think?

Yes I honestly despair at anyone voting labour. No one who does would I want as my friend. I am even telling my dad I won't speak to him for a week if he votes labour.(he is a disnasuar from the 60s who was a union rep) At least we know where we stand.

It's actually amazing people don't know what a negotiation involves and that answering questions from the public or paxman on TV doesn't even relate.

I am basing it on not just this, it's no secret that she is a control freak that has to micro manage everything, and that she doesn't like to be caught off guard.
She has no idea what is going to be thrown at her in the private negotiation room and will have to think on her feet at times unprepared. her responses to a tv debate which she cannot stage manage like most of her appearances gives a little insight, but not the full story, yet reading about her previous record and what I see, she is poor.

A female Gordon Brown from that analysis. She'll be kept away from real people to prevent her own bigotgate

blimey, I miss Cameron.

Think Corbyn edged it. I'm certainly undecided at the moment, huge cons against both parties imo.
Corbyn could have smashed it mate and you still shouldn't vote for him. People like Len McCluskey support him mate. Enough said.

Yes, in your world we all stand alone.

As a long standing Labour voter who can't stand Corbyn, I had come to the conclusion that I would reluctantly vote Conservative but having seen May's performance in the last few days I've had second thoughts. She comes across as fucking clueless. Looks like I'm going to vote Lib Dem for the first time ever mostly based on local issues. I don't actually agree with John Leech on a lot of things but I've had some intraction with him in his current role as a councillor and found him to be approachable and is prepared to listen to alternative viewpoints. I think the Conservatives will win but I hope that the opposition will be strong enough to hold them to account.

She has been compared to him before for her style, she doesn't deal with suprises well acording to some pps in the home office and everything had to be as she planned out exactly.

I think you just have to make a judgement call
On the one hand we had a Nervous woman who was a bit rattled by the clearly left leaning audience & questioning or on the other hand we have a treacherous traitorous bastard
It's a tricky one
