I see 'fake news' is rearing it's ugly head. Fake Twitter, fake YouTube, fake Facebook. Hasn't there always been fake news - they've just found a trendy name for it.

Do you honestly believe that piece of shit was a Mancunian?
He was born here, by rights that makes him a Mancunian and what angers me even more that he allowed himself to become so warped when living in one of the best communities in the world.

Can someone give me an example of when bombing was more successful than negotiation ?

It seems some people in this country just want to resort to dropping bombs without trying to work their problems out. Bunch of idiots who have obviously never been involved in a war or been in a situation where it is personal. It's like they think they're bombing robots and not human beings.

Why did they arrange for tonight's event to take place in York? Boring old Yorkshire facts. Obsessed with bombing and killing foreigners. Lol.

In this instance the question to Corbyn was "If someone fired a nuclear weapon at us" not we bomb them first. And he still wouldn't do it, he can't be allowed near power with that mindset.

No, we won't, hopefully. But the issue isn't about nuclear weapons threats, it's about the potential leader of the country with a history of not just nuclear disarmament (a noble cause) but a history of abstaining from using them under threat of a nuclear exchange. North Korea manages to nuke the US, the US wants NATO to respond, China gets pissed, Russia gets pissed and everyone enters a mexican standoff.

It's a question about leadership not about whether he prefers nuclear disarmament to renewing Trident. Is he prepared to do what is expected in this age of nuclear weapons to protect the citizens by adopting the method of M.A.D. which has done well to prevent all out global thermonuclear war. We're thankfully in an age where world leaders and their generals no longer push the concept that a nuclear war can be 'won', but that still does not mean they also would not tell any other hostile entity that "use any force against us, ANY force nuclear or otherwise, and we will obliterate you".

Why is it so hard for him to say "yes, I would, though I hope I never have to and will work to ensure it never becomes a possibility and the threat of nuclear war is eradicated forever".

If he was on celebrity gladiator this would be the weapon of choice

But what if in his death throes he shoots you in the knackers?

WW2 I'd suggest. If you can't negotiate because they refuse to listen what happens next? Stick your fingers in your ears yelling lalalala all night?
Nobody WANTS him to use one but he can't sit saying he never will ffs, he wants to be the countries leader.

May was better than before. I'd say 5 out of 10, so about 4 points better than before.

Corbyn 6 or 7 perhaps.

But the audience were bent as per usual with the BBC. Unless anyone is to believe that through his sheer power of argument, Corbyn turned moderate neutrals into whooping, cheering, devotees. And all in 45 minutes.

I think not somehow. The BBC are a f***ing disgrace.

I'm pretty sure Operation Sunrise was the resolution after millions died from bombing
Whats a surrender of the battered German forces left in Italy prove, not much. You could have negotiated with the Germans and Japanese until you were blue in the face. Only military force ended the Second World War.

There are no neutrals, but the audience is mixed and not biased. Corbyn's supporters are just much, much more passionate than the Tory dinosaurs, sitting in silence.

It was to retaliate if someone nuked us. Not him issuing a first strike.

May was good 6/10.
Corbyn was good too 6/10
But feck me we're screwed on the worlds Diplomatic stage if he ever becomes PM.
Brexit would be a complete disaster too. We really would get a bad deal.
It's enough to make me vote Tory!
(but I've already voted Lib Dem)

I read these posts, with despair can we please get to the real Marxist world that Corbyn believes in. Growth of the economy does not figure in the mantra.
It is all about state control of everything. Anybody who has read Marx and Engels would know the stock market would be the first thing a true Socialist would close down.
It is everything the true Socialist would not want is to see foreign or indeed, any investment in our country. Clause four, in itself, dictates that state ownership is the order of the day.
The state in charge of all our lives is the ultimate. The freedom all the people now enjoy would be a thing of the past. Total dependency on the state, will follow.
Why do you think people wanted to escape from communist east Germany, why do you think the destruction of the Berlin Wall was met with such joy.
Be very careful what you wish for my fellow Citizens, because if you vote for a man, who is clearly anti capitalist, appeaser of murderers and will bankrupt the country, a decade of misery the country has never known since the thirties will surely follow.
We need to control immigration, we have enough people in this country to deliver all it needs, it is a lie that we need immigrants to fulfill this. We did not need immigration between 1939 to 1945 to keep our country mobilised against the German threat. We do not need it now. It is true that immigrants have filled gaps in our NHS, but that is down to our failure to train up our population. Are we saying that among our 65 million population we cannot train enough people to fulfil our needs? Total nonsense.
Please do not vote for a anti British party who will wreak havoc amongst the people I love, yes I love you all, if what I fear could happen, happens, you will see the end of forums like this, yes I have read Mark and Engels it is not the society you guys would want to live in, please believe me.
All the best to you all. Peggy.
hilarious. Really. Laugh out loud material. You should do stand up.
