Perhaps he didn't fancy permenantly residing in "That, There Landan".... I know I certainly wouldn't.

Or perhaps he doesn't have enough faith in his own ability, to believe he can oust Giroud.

Either way I fear that's completely scuppered any small chance we might've had of signing Sanchez :-(

Anyone can oust Giroud to be honest.. I rarely see a Striker using so much time walking around on the pitch and raising his hands in the air at everything!

Couldn't agree more, to be honest... Apart from when he plays against us ... & suddenly morphs into a taller more lethal version of the late, great Gerd Mùller, for no apparent reason whatsoever
 
Gundogan, Nolito, Sane, Stones, Coric, and a left back. Not as tasty as I envisioned but still okay.

Yeah agreed actually Dax. IF that happened and it's still a big IF obviously then it would be pretty disappointing for me to be honest. Thought this would be the summer we really went for world class with pep coming

Don't forget we have a very good team already that have been coached badly for 2 yrs,he will be making them function a lot better and will only bring in players that compliment them and not just big names for the sake of it

Exactly. First of all, Gundogan IS world class. And secondly, what are KDB, Aguero, Fernandinho, Kompany, Hart if not world class? But they haven't been coached well.
