Chelsea have an established revenue stream that's comparable to any other side. Newcastle don't, that puts limitations on what they can spend and still comply with ffp.Both Newcastle and Chelsea have new owners why can't they spend like Chelsea.

They didn't have much choice, they lost about half their starting 11 that got them up so had to replace them at least. it was also nowhere near one of the best squads in the championship, Cooper got them up, wouldn't have stood a chance with minor adjustments. Think is now that they've spent a lot, there's more pressure to stay up and if things aren't going to plan in the first half of the season, there's more chance they'll sack the main reason they're in the Premier league for a firefighter manager. We will see a proper merry-go-round of managers during the world cup as all teams flirting with relegation get twitchy with 4 weeks of no football.
