Trossard at that price is very smart business, they need backup, he provides very capable backup, fits into their system will score and assist plenty and knows the league so can have an immediate impact. Disappointingly good signing.
Feel for Brighton losing so many of their players, only so many times they can continue to bring in quality players from nowhere, eventually they'll have a dud or two and then they stall as a club and the rest of the side gets picked apart.
feels like the league are trying to do what they (mainly Liverpool) did to Southampton several years back. Bissouma, cucurella, burn, white, trossard, caicedo possibly next and them losing mwepu to a forced retirement who looked a brilliant player all gone in the last 2 seasons, they're doing brilliantly but with those players they could be challenging the teams they're selling to.
