From what I remember he didn't start that often, Barry was preferred, he may have had some important moments but so did Dzeko and Balotelli. Yes he had a great attitude, but he's done nothing since leaving to make me think it was a mistake to let him go.

Correct !

He hasn't done much since he left, true, which suggests we probably sold at the best time, but he was great for us in his time here! In the fa cup winning year he was excellent playing alongside Barry. As the side grew and became more expansive the following season when we won the league he was sacrificed somewhat, but even then he contributed when called upon!
