General transfer rumours

Still in for Isak as well I've heard. Liverpool want to sign both Ekitike and Isak. Where is all this money coming from? They also want a winger and another CB, and they've already paid 116 million for 1 player. If we did that we'd get absolutely hammered by the media.

They can't compete apparently. Dickheads.
It’s the Coutinho money.

They are investing before they lose VVD and Salah. We could’ve done that too but our coach said no. Diaz, Eliott and Nunez will bring them money.

This wheres the money coming from is weird. Have you not followed what we've done? Spend little a cross a few windows then go big in one. Spending 300m in one window seems a lot, but it's 60m amortised over 5 years. Sell elliot for 40m and it's 20m in year one 10m with TAA. Successful teams can spend a bundle.

We could spend literally 100s of millions without it affecting us.

Not just them, Kerkez has clearly brought been brought in as Robertson has dropped off a cliff, that new keeper is clearly Allison long term successor

Surprised they've gone for Ekitike, hes kinda only really had 1 great season and they're spending a lot on him

Wirtz isn’t an out and out winger, think Diaz is gonna be a huge miss for them he typical of Liverpool style the last decade or so of being high energy and direct and hes added a the final product that has stopped him being truely among the best in the world

Allison v Mamardashvili
Trent v Frimpong
Robertson v Kerkez
Ekitike v Nunes/Jota
Wirtz v Diaz/Elliot

No guarantees those replacements will match those they're replacing, Wirtz included

And that's without considering the elephant that is Salah/VVD form slowing down as they age and the fact Konate is into his final year of his deal

Interestingly Salah’s form seemed to drop off after he got his new contract, long may it continue

Tbf I think thays common, there is a running gag that after he posts his Xmas family photo his output halves the 2nd half of the season

But yes....long may it continue

Isak would put them on 400m spend for this window. Small part in me would not mind it just to see them hypocritically come up with excuses for not being able to compete financially. However, I can’t see them spending that much.

Isak is clearly pushing for a move though with his “planned absence”.

It’s all paid for by the Coutinho money tbf

If Liverpool sign Etikite and Isak i fear there will be no stopping them
Really? I dont see why getting 2 almost identical players in a team that plays 433 is "no stopping them"

On paper yea they have done phenomenal but on the other side they're breaking up a title winning squad

Wirtz, Marmadashvilli, Frimpong, Kerkez and now Ekitike + Isak/Guehi join, that's 7 players all of whom would join them assuming they walk into the first XI while they're losing a lot of key players some who have been part of their core the last half decade and some top young talents who were around the first team squad

Its risky and may work, also might not...

All i know is Slot is making it his squad, and now hes gonna have a LOT of pressure to him after all this money is spent

Suspect they might go 352 with Frimpong and Kerkez, and two forwards

Yeah that’s why they don’t really want to sell him unless there‘s a crazy bid. Diaz is very underrated one of the best LW out there. If he‘s 26 instead of 28 with projected another 5 years with his „ energy“ then he would go for 100+ - but here‘s where rodrygo comes in. If they have a real chance to get him the will let Diaz go.

Since when has hypocrisy ever been a problem for the cunts ?

Talk of united putting in a late offer for

Viktor Gyökeres.

Imagine the arsenal fans reaction if true.

Pissing themselves laughing I would imagine - rag bullshit machine going into action , like every season before.

Even the gooner fans aren't that stupid are they ...........
