They could top it if they wanted to though.
The graphics in BF1 are amazing but there was very few upgrades, different weapons or attachments. Different colours for your guns? What a load of poitless shite. BFHL had shit loads of weapons and attachments to work for. Very little longevity compared to past Battlefield titles imo.

Thats what puts me off, supposed to a lot of cut scenes and from the reviews ive read a lot of people completed the game in around 10 hours of gameplay. What they have said, which is the part that really intrigues me is that your choices and how you play the game really directs the way the story plays out. So you can play it multiple times without just playing and repeat.

The F1 series of games deliver an authentic representation of the world of Formula 1 sport to its fans, providing an immersive, high-end racing experience with the full roster of teams, drivers and circuits from the latest season of Formula One.

Build your reputation both on and off the track, with time-pressured media interviews that influence your F1 career path. Are you a sportsman or a showman? Will you develop your team to the top or send your agent to target a rival team and driver? F1 2018 puts you in control.

F1 2018 is the officially licensed game of the 2018 Formula One Season. Players will have access to the full 2018 season calendar of 21 tracks and be able to race with the full roster of 20 drivers and 10 teams.

The full roster of official drivers and teams will be available to play in the game. Toro Rosso signed Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley as their new full-time drivers for 2018, Charles Leclerc, joins Sauber, whilst Sergey Sirotkin joins the Williams team.


All of the latest sports rules and updates will be included in the game, including the new-spec 2018 car and tyres and the controversial "Halo" safety concept.

The rich career mode will allow players to shape their own path to glory as they hone their skills, deal with the media and develop their car over multiple seasons.

Iconic Formula One cars of the past will be available to race across a variety of game modes.

Players will able to race online with a full grid of 20 cars in either public or private sessions.

Updated handling models and force feedback will provide the most authentic and engaging racing experience to date.

Picked up Divinity original sin for £8 last week on the Xbox store. Brilliant game. Proper old school turn based rpg. Its absolutely huge as well and .very funny. Sequel is out on the Xbox in August and ive already played 3 hours of that as its in early access

I enjoyed it, but I enjoy story-driven games like Heavy Rain, MGS, TLOU etc. I don't mind a cutscene when the whole game feels like a film. Knowing your penchant for action, I'd be tempted to steer clear.

I always buy this game. I enjoyed last years but I only ever make it through a few seasons.

I bought myself the full racing seat and pedals, force feedback wheel a few years ago and it makes it the most realistic game you’ll play. Can certainly recommend doing likewise.

I'm very tempted to get a wheel and pedel set as I also have a few other racing sims on Steam (Asseto Corsa and dirt rally namely) as it's a real ballache to drive with a controller.
Which wheel did you buy as a matter of interest?
Hopefully online gets fixed this year because as you note after a few seasons it can get a bit repetitive
