I doubt it mate, sorry, seems PS5 and Xbox x sold out everywhere you can still get Xbox s on pre order in some places.
 
I'm not normally one to get the latest flash in the pan release, but had great fun on Phasmophobia just there. Tenner on steam. Good one with mates.
 
Sony working towards providing more stock for third wave of ps5 pre-orders if it helps anyone, likely available in the UK around 19th November. Personally I'm hanging back a year or two, the launch console is too bulky for my liking this time around and I'm mistrustful of launch versions,plus I have a huge backlog of games to get through thanks to ps now.

Finished FFVII remake, I've critisised the game so much already, but damn if it hasn't pulled me in with its story again. Hear that there's a lot hidden on hard mode which is only unlockable after one play through, so may do that next.

Going to have to cancel Xbox pc gamepass too, it's got fantastic games on it but I just don't have the time. Plus it's gone from 99p introductory offer to 3.99 then 7.99 in two months for me. Still good value but as I already have ps now at the equivalent of £3 per month I have to step out of the Xbox pass.

I think its going to be chaos at launch time with people not getting pre orders on time and launch issues. Sony claimed to have learnt lessons from the ps4 launch but clearly they haven't as its been a bit of shambles and so many people (me included) have been unable to get one. That being said, im not to fussed and will wait till next year and happy to plough a bit more time into Stellaris and Fifa21 over the next few months in the mean time.

I know nothing about their supply chain but can't help think Covid issues from earlier on in the year slowed production with parts being sourced from China etc. I also wonder if they forecasted sales to be lower due to the economic impact. It could just be that they are desperate to launch ASAP regardless of stock situation to increase hype/demand.
 
Can see Forza 7 Motorsport on my xbox games pass pc but it goes to a blank screen and cant download? Anyone else trying to get today and cant?

Most Game Pass games are put on at 8am Pacific Time(As Microsoft are based on the west coast) which is 4pm UK time. Just checked on Xbox and its not on there either. The link is on PC game pass as i can see it but it doesnt work

I saw it last night, it came on at 1am for me so should be there. I had to change the standard gamepass to the new one that they've rolled out though, the 10.99 a month one. Forza that is.
 
The price of the next gen consoles has got me thinking of jumping off the console bandwagon and looking at P.C based gaming for my lads.

Anyone any idea what a parts only self build would cost to similar spec as the new Gen? Doesn't need to be flashy looking just decent Hardware, I'm savvy enough to build it, just blissfully ignorant to parts prices

I think it always has been expensive in relative terms. I I saw posted on twitter and old Argos ad from the early 90s for a Sega Mega Drive and they were expensive even in today's money. Consoles tend to drop prices after a year or two.

I think consoles these days are more accessible with the subscription streaming service and free to play games. Kids also can get a better idea of what games they might enjoy with plenty of youtubers streaming gameplay. Back in my day I'd need to rent a game for a weekend, hope the PS2/1 mag had a demo or in most cases just take a punt in the game shop if a game looked good by the packaging. What does add up however is when gamers become addicted and purchase DLC etc, that's something you'd need to battle.

Someone might correct me but for an equivelent PC to be able to play the latest games coming (Like kids do) you're looking at upwards of £800.

If it was me I would stick with Playstations for the kids and buy myself a PC so I can play MS Flight Sim 2020

I too have just had to upgrade, first month £1 and also had to download from the website rather than the Xbox app where the link is not working. Oh well it's downloading at least.

PC gaming is not cheap mate and the spending becomes almost addictive.

Sony and Microsoft make a loss on the manufacturing of the consoles and trust me, for what's inside the next gen consoles they are a steal.

Unless you buy used parts it's damn near impossible to build a gaming PC cheaper than a comparable console. But then again it can be used for other things also.
 
Anyone played Death Stranding? Seems like a game that people either love or hate. Certainly not for everyone, but it does have me intrigued.
 
Hmm on Forza 7. Many many many hours on the series, but I'm not sure what is going on here. Not a fan of it being Horizon on circuits. Will give it some time, the steering seems 'off' to me.
