Nobody on here playing arc raiders?
Just solo killed my first bastion with a free load out after finding a few rare grenades.
Was buzzing looting it then some knobhead killed me while looting.
Oh well

blast from the past, just bought Age of empires Definitive edition for the PS5, didnt even know it was a thing :)

Nor me...

I'm very much a controller player but can't imagine playing AOE without a keyboard and mouse.... And FYI I checked and you can use a mouse and keyboard on the PS5 version if you so wish.

I keep toying with the idea but I played the free demo and it was so frustrating I’ve swerved it just for the reason you said

Honestly I've not been as keen to turn my Xbox on to play a game since my destiny days.
I've actually played for about 5 hours today in-between watching city and had loads of fun.
Only level 27 atm but flying through the quest and learning what loot to keep or sell.
For £30 I think it's well worth it.

My days for these types of games are over. Warzone finished me off, it's full of sweats and cheats lol

Solo player games for me now or Destiny which is the closest I get to PVP.

I compared it to the dark zone in Divison, where once people are high level your slaughtered every time it’s not enjoyable, but each to their own pal. Plus I’ve the reactions of a slug these days.

Destiny 1 is probably my most played game ever, nearly cost me my marriage I was that addicted haha, destiny 2 not so much. But raid night with the boys was prime time gaming.

Ye love Destiny but it's definitely faded now :-( new expansion last week and it's the 1st time since Destiny launch 10 years ago I've not played on release.

I loved Destiny but I couldn’t get into end game as you needed mates playing it which I didn’t and just couldn’t get into a group, I dod manage one or two but I was shite at the jumping puzzles.

Got through pacific drive over the last month. Very decent game, great atmosphere to it. I'd recommend it.

Still playing lumines remastered on and off too. There is a speed run trophy for getting through all of challenge mode in under 55 minutes. I had about half a dozen runs where I got between 55.20-55.30 minutes and then yesterday i hit a 55.04, very frustrating to miss out on a near hour challenge by 4 bloody seconds. Today I got a 54.54 and finally did it.

So I regularly watch a dayz streamer called the running manz.
Today he's doing a charity stream for Alzheimer's research,so far he's raised £75k with still 3 hours to go.
His dad died of dementia.
The gaming community is fantastic.
Don't know why I've posted this but thought he deserves mention.
I watch some of his streams too.

Currently playing the talos principle 2. Loved the first even though the story aspect got a bit too much, similar vibes to the first so far, absolutely loving the puzzles, not really overly bothered about the story, i find myself just wanting to hurry through that to get to that next puzzle.

Puzzles are just the right level of being tough enough to make you think but isn't something that is going to have you stuck for hours and makes you feel smart when you figure them out. Only around halfway through so far but can already highly recommend it. If you played and liked the first, its a no brainer.

So I caved after reading your post, I had enough reward points to get it for £25 so basically a free game, I don’t think I’ve been so tense playing a game, I spent two hours last night on it, died a few times and some twat killed me after saying don’t shoot but I’m liking it. I’m still getting used to it all and used freeloadout loads until I can craft some decent weapons etc and know what I’m supposed to be really crafting. Any tips for levelling up crafting quick?

I spent my money on expanding my stash until you get 280 spaces so just collect everything for the time being.
You can sell trinkets and whatnot.
I found the anvil is good for basic arc like wasps and hornets
The snitcher upgrade is probably the best smg for killing other raiders.
Trust your instincts when around other raiders, there's some right sneaky twats about, I've been double crossed far too much lately.ive found the foreigners do it most when they hear your English accent haha
As far levelling up your work stations it's pretty easy to get to level 2 just track what you need, maybe search YouTube shorts for where the best to find your items.
Level 3 requires loot from bigger arc like bastion, leaper, rocketeer etc
Good luck blue

lol. Not took one down yet. Still struggling with the pvp elements myself, find that you can’t trust anyone. If there are a couple raiders at the extraction point, I’ll typically either find another of wait until they’ve fucked off….shot in the back too many times.
