£34.99 from game and had an old gift card with 20 on, so only cost me 15. I played a few hours today just wandering round and when i flipped the map on it made me realise id covered about a square inch of the map. Only game ive played on the PS4 like it is witcher 3, but for some reason i already love this game more. I much prefer how you build your charachter skills up in Skyrim, much more scope to focus on certain skills. Archery for me this time, never been a wood elf before.

Perhaps gameplay wise but story wise the Witcher 3 shits all over Skyrim. I really enjoyed Skyrim just dicking around the world, breaking into houses and stealing their stuff etc but the quests and story is bad.

Absolute bollocks.
You enjoy your PC chair and tiny monitor and I'll enjoy the reclining sofa and 65" tv.
With a joypad? Utterly pointless. I do have quite a large monitor now...and a very comfortable chair. I also have a large tv and a nice sofa, with a ps under it. I play games on it but fps? No chance. Assisted aim is horrible.

I have assisted aim turned off and a KD ratio of 1.7. Quiet riot can confirm.With a joypad? Utterly pointless. I do have quite a large monitor now...and a very comfortable chair. I also have a large tv and a nice sofa, with a ps under it. I play games on it but fps? No chance. Assisted aim is horrible.
A joy pad is only useless if you aren't good with one. Any **** can use a mouse, it's a piece of piss.

Takes the fun away of the game when using a mouse, it's to easy.
I think when there is so much to do in a game like both of them, the main quest on both becomes almost secondary. Neither main quest really grabbed where as say oblivion I loved the main quest. No that's Argoions(sp) there the reptiles. Khajiit are the cats, every race in Skyrim hate and distrust them as they make the drug drink skooma and also because they have exceptional sneak and stealth most of them are either thieves or assassins. So its looks like I'll be joining The Dark Brotherhood and The Thieves Guild!

Lots of great missions in the dark brotherhood from what I remember from playing it years ago. It's a bit like using the joypad no? Everyone in the same boat? Just had a nice 67 kills and 3 deaths in BF1.
In all seriousness, people should just play what they wish and not denigrate those that do a different thing but I will say that if one masters the joypad then FPS are more than great on a console.

It's not so much that the story is bad, it's the way it's told that's bad. It all starts out really well by letting you actually experience the story (very Half Life), but very quickly it reverts to you standing there while someone tells you their entire life history before starting a quest, which is usually you just fetching something or clearing out some sort of temple full of bad guys.Perhaps gameplay wise but story wise the Witcher 3 shits all over Skyrim. I really enjoyed Skyrim just dicking around the world, breaking into houses and stealing their stuff etc but the quests and story is bad.
The world itself is great though, other than the quite frequent bugs. The fact that your level ups are linked to how you actually play the game is a great feature. I went for pure warrior. Made him look like the wildling bloke from Game of Thrones.
Oh, and just to add to the console vs. PC debate, I bought a controller for my PC to play some driving game and decided to try it out on Skyrim. Oh my god, how could you play it like that? It's horrendous.
