I watch it as it really is a soap opera for men. What can I say to the naysayers.

I know it's fake, I can see the pulled punches, the odd word to each other in a clinch and the fuck ups. But I also see good sometimes great story lines that suck you in, funny promos and unbelievable athletic ability. Sure they wear lycra pants and oil themselves up but it is entertaining.

You also have to admire there ability to take hits night after night. Ok, they pull their punches, but they also land on tables, hit each other with chairs, fly over ropes onto each other and perform all manner of different moves that would hurt like fuck if we did it.

Shit song but you can see what I mean here...

Yes but its not like that anymore

No it's not but if you watched the Wyatts v The Shield then you should have enjoyed it. Sure there were pulled punches and fake moves but some of the stuff they pulled off was brilliant. Best match in years.

doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt, and for the long-term health of the people involved surely its better?

I'd go back 25 years now knowing what we do and have made that era a bit more restrained so as to have ensured that the likes of Stone Cold, Mick Foley and Edge could still compete now.

Hogan, Lesnar and Undertaker all expected to be returning tonight.

Although I wonder who the focus will be on..

Was re-reading Countdown to Lockdown and it's just ridiculous how messed up Foley's body is from years of that type of shit. He's already agreed to donate his brain when he dies to Chris Nowinski's concussion research charity thing.

If you watch soaps then you know what's going to happen at least a week before but they still watch the story play out. People who like wrestling guess, but they don't really know what they're going to see. That's partly why the 6 man tag last night was so great. Imho. It's also why i hate reading spoilers and know to avoid them until i see the show. Anyway. Tonight should be good.

Looks like Bryan fans will get their wish with a reported Batista heel turn tonight, leaving room for a face in the WM main event.

I'll forever love Batista for his response to the crowd after the Rumble

Looks like Undertaker/Lesnar will be the only match worthwhile at WM, depending on how this Shield/Wyatt story pans out.

Lesnar will beat the fuck out of undertaker. But will lose. I'm not excited at the prospect of the guys i watched originally battling the likes of bryan. He's OK, and roh does rock to it's audience, thank fuck aj is back to bring legitimacy back. Wwe is such a wasted opportunity in my fucked up UK mind
