The only officer who tried to check on him was pulled away by others. A 75 year old man getting pushed to the ground, had his head smack off the pavement and with fucking blood pooling out of his ears.

Agree normally but its clear the white power symbol is being used by some to exert authority whilst the raised fist is very much one of protest right now.

Having a uniform and a badge does not and should not give anyone the authority to lay even a finger on a compliant, peaceful protester exorcising their 1st Amendment rights.
I am just thankful there are people willing to risk their own safety by filming these vile acts of Federally sanctioned violence. This is fascist regime levels of violence, and it should not be allowed to stand.
I get that but I think the raised fist would mean alot more to some.
Sorry, are you trying to say the white power movement and black power movement are the same or mirror images of each other?
They might have similar names but they're very different movements.

Possibly but until such a time those that do go around killing people because of the idea behind it im not going to lose too much sleep and im happy to say right now, its a protest symbol and can see why its being used.
Yeah that's a racist symbol but the raised fist symbolizes the black power movement, new/black panthers which are racist.Which would be relevant if the officer was holding a raised fist.

Yes, and it's clear. For a start the black power movement was around for 50 years before the new black panthers.
The black power movement is an umbrella that encompasses emancipation, the civil rights movement, promoting black pride, celebrating black history.
Now under that umbrella came the more unsavoury branches of black nationalism and the black panthers, but the fist is and was a symbol of the entire thing.
The White Power sign is only every about white superiority.

It's a white power symbol officially recognised by the ADL.
Initially started as internet trolling by 4chan members, it was actually picked up by white supremacists.
By 2019, at least some white supremacists seem to have abandoned the ironic or satiric intent behind the original trolling campaign and used the symbol as a sincere expression of white supremacy, such as when Australian white supremacist Brenton Tarrant flashed the symbol during a March 2019 courtroom appearance soon after his arrest for allegedly murdering 50 people in a shooting spree at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.
