The largest pre-trial settlement of its kind.

Goes to show they know the impact of what happened and how it's changed the view on policing from all quarters, not just for Black and Brown communities.

Should be coming out of the coffers of the Minneapolis PD's pension fund, not the City's.

Maybe the city will take that into consideration to claw, at least, some of it back?

You'd hope so, otherwise that's 27m gone out of services to the most vulnerable and affected by police misconduct over there.

I get that, but you would think sense would prevail in balancing the budget.

Don't really have the patience to watch it, he'll get a slap on the wrist and we all know it. Is he still going with the "if I hadn't murdered the man in cold blood he'd have dropped dead anyway as he passed a fake $20" defence?
