but no one had seen this before the Media and FBI got involved? It made a great headline but the actual truth was actually dis appointing for the media.
I don't see that NASCAR (or whichever race it was) had any choice.
They could hardly say nothing as it would spread by word of mouth anyway, and not saying anything would have been unthinkable. I assume FBI involvement is standard practice for this type of thing (I don't know for certain) and that would be noticed by everyone as well, but allegation-investigation-outcome seems to have worked exactly as it should.

I guess I owe an apology with the noose now not being a noose and just a door handle. I wrongly assumed that the reporting of said noose was genuine and being placed in a restricted area that there would at least have been someone that knew who put it there. My previous post on the matter was based on this and I have been proved wrong. I want to apologise for my mistake.

That's exactly right!
There's a longer clip out there by a minute or two explaining why celebrating people who were the cause of Human misery are wrong and suggested people that wanted to bring everybody up to the same level.
There's a follow up with 'Morning Joe' where Gary chambers Jr. is pretty subdued (might have been an early morning thing), but is much more animated talking to Roland Martin, a man that was deemed 'too Black' for CNN!

So the noose was actually a door handle all along, now there's a thing...
So, here's the thing with with this "door handle" thing.
If this driver has never noticed a door handle pull down in the shape of a noose before, in all the time he's been driving, he's allowed to think someone's been up to mischief, which is feasible if they feel a way about the confederate flag.
There are, after all, many people on these boards that have the view they have about the BLM movement with their WLM argument that get triggered.
Unfortunately this is the way of the world these days, condemnation before confirmation.or sad that people are looking for things like that to run to the media about before the facts are established.
Respect man! But you really have nothing to apologize for. Our media creates these types of frenzy and hysteria. Racism sells. So they sell it and try to find it wherever they can. And when they cant, they sometimes manufacture it. They need to keep selling.
