Georgi Kinkladze

Watch his touch on this video

In terms of his career, it was at the end, however still nice to see some footage of his genius even in the dark days.

I will always love Gio. He will always be my favourite player.

I remember Port Vale away, and in particular, watching Mikheil Kavaleshvili do about 300 keepy upy's before the game. I started to believe he might be what gio had told the media when he signed 'that he was a better player than kinkladze'.

Unfortunately he wasnt. Think he scored 2 goals in 20+games.

Anyone remember Chester City away in the FA cup? I ask only because it was shit

That game against Newcastle when we drew 3-3 at Maine Road is probably the best individual performance I've ever seen from a City player.

I do indeed. It was the only away game i went to and i recall it being the darkest day of my life, i think we lost 2-1. Vale Park was awful and i think Kinky probably felt the same. I don't think he played again until the last home game v QPR but it was all too late. Oh how times have changed...but i will never forget Vale Park.

Get this lad over for the first game and onto to the pitch juggling a ball with his left peg so we can yet again salute his genius.

I do - remember him kissing his badge after scoring.... also remember him being anonymous at Vale Park in another game...... (Curly Watts was sat in front of me)
