World was always mad, these things have always happened, but we are sent livestream footage these days on social media. Think people always showed off their home improvements to the family, friends and neighbours. Keeping with the Joneses.

There's some unnecessary things that didn't happen when I was growing up such as graduation from reception class, but at the end of the day it is just a bit of fun. Don't see the harm in people sharing joy of a milestone of their kid starting school but probably ought to be a narrow circle of friends.

Think it's a bit of stretch to put patio peacocking and murder rampages in the same paragraph.

If only these sad losers just did this instead rather than offloading whatever personal issues they have and grievances they have into finding a cause or idealogy but missing the bit abouts being a good neighbour in their religion. All these losers crave notoriety for selfish acts of evil. Not sure that's quite the same as instant gratification as most of these attacks are planned weeks or months in advance.

If only they'd realised that it's better to do something mundane and ordinary well e.g. raising a family or working in office and live a life where they were instantly forgettable.

I think that ship sailed on 9/11 mate, and the Isis beheading videos. Social media and the 24 HR news cycle are hungry monsters and the ideal vehicle for terrorists to shock.

These attacks tend to follow a pattern and people will naturally assume the pattern has been followed in this case. With the Southport attack, anyone making assumptions were very quickly jumped on and told the guy was Welsh and hence there was no terrorist connection.

My reasoning, if he was prone to do this, why would he wait nearly 20 years, obviously he could have been radicalised recently, or it could be something else.

The key word in what I wrote is "could".
