My reasoning, if he was prone to do this, why would he wait nearly 20 years, obviously he could have been radicalised recently, or it could be something else.

Watching Sky now and they’re discussing it. It just came through the Mail are quoting 11 dead, to which the anchor says it’s likely the biggest terror attack there for some time. Cue someone muttering and stuttering through sheer terror it’s not been classed as terror yet, and the anchor frantically backtracking.
