Good lord!!!!!!!!
**** shouldn't see the light of day.

Isn’t that a pretty good definition of failing?I don't believe it failed mate, they just did the sum total of fuck all until something did happen AGAIN.
He was IslamaphobicNo it’s not quite the same.
The Norwegian attacked the children of his political “enemies”who were attending an event on an island, organised by a political group. This was after setting off a bomb on the mainland.
They were just innocent children of course, but not random victims like In Germany. It was carefully targeted- I don’t recall reading he was Islamophobic or that it featured in what he did…but I stand to be corrected on that.

They can hold him beyond that and I'm sure they will.Another interesting aspect of that case is that Breitvik is now eligible for parole. It’s been refused twice already, of course, but his sentence was 21 years, which takes him to 2033.
That’s unbelievable.Maximum sentence in Norway. Can only imagine the Molde forum’s off topic section being full of “Bring back the rope!”
Oh yeah, I’m sure he’ll never see the cold light of day again. They can hold him beyond that and I'm sure they will.
He'll never be deemed safe for release because he'll never be able to persuade the parole board he no longer possesses his extreme views and violent intent.
How can you come back from killing 77 people and just live in society? If he were to ever have an awakening and genuine empathy and remorse , someone with a vaguely normal mindset would hang themselves in their cell.
His parole pleas are naturally all about himself.
Fair enough.He was Islamaphobic
Throw away the key.Another interesting aspect of that case is that Breitvik is now eligible for parole. It’s been refused twice already, of course, but his sentence was 21 years, which takes him to 2033.
How do you lock someone up before they have committed a crime? One thing that is clear is just like in the Uk the security and intelligence failed. They were aware of him for a long time and were even warned about him. We’ve had similar with known dangerous criminals not being locked up before they have chance to commit these crimes
I'm fairly sure you can be locked up for planning a terrorist act, but i stand to be corrected I'm no legal eagle. How do you lock someone up before they have committed a crime?
You can be locked up for planning a crime or inciting hatred - I could be wrong, but isn’t that what this guy was doing all over social media. How do you lock someone up before they have committed a crime?
Anti Islamist Saudi doctor. Confusing world.
I am waiting for the day Germany, Sweden and other countries start saying we are not allowing immigrants in... Either that or they start vetting them better. Its just a ticking timeboomb under the seat of politics, I think they are going to have to change their welcoming policy. Hopefully not, but feels like there's going to be a watershed moment.
I think it's damning that the german government were specifically warned about this bastard and not a lot was done. You can be locked up for planning a crime or inciting hatred - I could be wrong, but isn’t that what this guy was doing all over social media.
Also there have been loads of cases of people committing crimes and not being locked up and then those people go on to commit serious offences - when they should have been in jail
It’s an all too familiar story. There’s literally thousands of these bastards on the radar. Lock them all up and it’s a recruiting boon for their deranged cause. The genie is out of the bottle.I think it's damning that the german government were specifically warned about this bastard and not a lot was done.
Suppose they're watching that many it's hard to keep up.I think it's damning that the german government were specifically warned about this bastard and not a lot was done.
I do have some sympathy, as you say he will be one of many, but I'd like to know what they actually did, was he questioned? was he told that he was being watched? did they schedule a repeat interview if he was questioned?Suppose they're watching that many it's hard to keep up.
