Germany next to ban the burqa?

1) no
2) ever tried wearing black in the sun?
3) eh?

It depends on the husband
Current thinking is that Black/white clothing makes no difference in the sun....offering the same protection. To perform the same function over here, they should be made of a stout tweed or gaberdine. Maybe Gor tex would be nice.

1) I know it's relative, but that's the level it is.
2) There is no restriction on any colour as such. The black purdah is cultural, I think it has it's origins in Iran (I may be wrong). If you happen to come to Malaysia, you will see all colours of Muslim women attire.
3) Yes. Quran 7:32 "Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?"

A husband is bound by the Scripture.

By and large I agree with the live and let live sentiment.

But the reality is, this is not a free country by any stretch of the imagination and a line has to be drawn somewhere.
What line?

Of course you are free to try to tell people how to dress

I'm just saying I don't agree with you

Religions can tell people how to dress?

It's a load of bollocks all of it. In the name of something that, in all probability, doesn't exist.

Yeah. White reflects and black radiates. Unless current thinking has just changed physics and that.

Eh?

That's some twisting of words to suit your view.

You also know some bloke made those words up don't you?
