Agree, strikers take the piss with it, but there's nothing the referee can really do.
The idea that players can't stop during their run-up is a well circulated myth. What they're not allowed to do is stop during the kicking motion. Havertz can stop and start his run-up as much as he wants.
I think the big problem we have with football at the moment is so many of the laws are badly written bollocks.
