One thing I’ve learned in life is don’t trust a Celtc fan, say one thing to your face then something totally different behind your back. An untrustworthy bunch.

My fave anecdotal story about a staunch Rangers fan (old co) was during opening game of WC98, turns up in our local bar with a Brazil top on. On being asked why he said there was too many “Fenians” playing for Scotland. We did enjoy pointing out to him Brazil was a Catholic country and whose players had an audience with Karol Wojtyła pre tournament. He finished his pint and fuck off home.

Your average Scotland fan is from every club bar the 2 bum chums in Glasgow. Hence the complete lack of trouble when they travel. The whole Tartan Army thing is a bit wanky, most scottish fans think Braveheart is a documentary and know nothing of their history.
