I'd say it would have been more down to all services being on higher alert to terrorist threats than they were in Paris. The explosives were found 1km away from the stadium.

And you think that human rights are respected in Guantanamo...? I wouldn't be opposed to sending them there because there is no way the CIA and the American government got their intelligence through going about things properly.
probably not - there were 2 views on water boarding for starters - Rumsfelds ( not torture ) and every body else's ( it is ) - however if you break or bend the rules or stick to them and in one of those ways get the intelligence you get the intelligence. Shooting them...... well dead men tell no tales as someone once said. I know thats a Corbyn kind of view but I think it makes far more sense.

Like the scares in Paris over the last day or so - Europe will be very jumpy anyway and frankly its an open goal for ISIS or just some nutter - a call to the authorities - " there's a bomb here ...or there ... or a plot to shoot " no Police force will take that lightly now. These may be just the Brucie Bonus days for the terrorists or their sympathisers - no need to actually execute a plot - one phone call and a jumpy population - job done.

All this talk of Guantanamo Bay etc. - do you think they perfectly respect all these laws on black sites?
Anyway on subject - there were 5 arrested in Aachen earlier today so due to the match being called off so late and all this news now I wouldn't be surprised if thats where the info came from.
I know all the talk about the refugees is a touchy subject but, with the amount of raids just in the last 2 days (around 300+ if reports are true) and the weapons recovered I think it would be very naive not to believe it's been exploited by the bastards.

I get that but I honestly wouldn't believe a word that came out of their mouths.
I'm usually opposed to the death penalty but i'd make an exception for this lot. They don't value life and are only here to destroy.

So if your supposition is correct you can see where shoot to kill gets us. A couple of dead guys in Aachen - three others on the run carry out their attack tonight - YAY we got two of the bastards - pity their mates went on to kill 120 later that day...............
