City are truly a proper family club, see the business with Alan which the club embraced, the Gran etc...entertaining stuff snd what makes the match going experience so pleasurable.

What a lovely thing to do for your dad, I don't think it's "out of order" at all to ask and it seems that there are people who can help you achieve this. I wish you and your dad the very best of luck, you really do deserve it.

Noticed this thread got another airing last week so thought would give everybody who contributed an update.
Dad has not been very well these last 6 weeks or so.
The hospital have done a bone marrow extraction and tested it.
He got a phone call form the hospial earlier today asking him to go and see his consultant tomorrow but to take my Mum, brother and myself with him.
It's not going to be good news I feel, I think our worst fears about his transplant failing are unravelling before our eyes.
Gutted doesn't even come close to how I feel right now.

This is very true was a truly fantastic day.
What makes it so galling is the fact he was doing so well, he was looking forward to summer as the rate he was prgressing he probably would have been out and about at his local pub and stuff, things he hasn't done for 3 years!
