Get the chequebook ready...

Yeh, lets waste some more of the chairmans money shall we ? Its disgusting the amount of money we've spent on players performing below par. For now at least I'd rather see what Mancini is made of and see if he can mould us into team capable of 4th spot.

mancini needs to buy big time, atleast 5 new worldclass players
and get rid of robbie hes a joke!

there is one spot we are totally lacking and that is midfield, when ireland is out we are stuck with grafters in midfield and we are not winning games when this is all we have to offer because there is nothing on the bench to change this.

How the fuck are you called Soulboy

You have none

After the Adebayor comments(which I watched but never commented on)

You are the furthest from being my Soul mate

You obviously never read my comments about Adebayor if that's what you think... I clearly stated I couldn't give a flying one if he wore an Arsenal shirt under his City kit.

UInless you saw something different... Yes?

Mancini was lined up for the City job some 3 weeks before the start of the January transfer window. In that time he must have thought what deals he could do to get the 4th. place, which is vital to his retention next season.

He's been at City for over 3 weeks now, and apart from the free transfer signing of Vieira, we have heard little or nothing about impending deals.

It has even been suggested that the current squad, once they all return from injury, will be good enough to see us through.

After today, I hope he is already on the phone to Cook setting up at least 4 deals.

We are STILL crying out for a centre half, a full back, a midfield playmaker, and now a forward (with the likelihood that injuries will take their toll of our forwards).

We are the richest club on the planet... use that advantage.

Time is of the essence.
wasn't it only last week that you and your ilk were telling us that the messiah didn't need to buy any players as he was a better coach than hughes, tactically more aware and able to motivate the players where hughes couldn't?

That team out there tonight was more than good enough to see off Everton. The personnel wasn't the problem for me. You can bring in as many top class players as you want but if they go out with the same kind of attitude they did tonight they will get beat every time, no matter who they are. You can't just go out and buy a load of new players after every poor performance and just think that will automatically make everything ok for the next game. We spent £32 million on a supposedly world class player and look at him now. Fellaini was their best player, streets ahead of any of our lot and he's no £32 million footballer.

Instead maybe it's time for Mancini to show us how good a manager he really is before Tuesday night. Plus one or two players need to have a good look at themselves in the mirror as well. You can learn big lessons from games like this. Just going out and spending yet more money will not help us learn those lessons.

"The Messiah"... and clearly you're still a bitter Hughes fan by that comment.

We were told by your ilk not to judge Hughes till he had his own team in... then all I'm asking for is the same position for Mancini.

Oh, and yes... Mancini is light years ahead of Hughes in every way. But that doesn't mean he should be lumbered with the shit that Hughes bought and not be able to replace them with better.

With respect mate I beg to differ its the full backs if any area that needs attention. We have some good options in midfield right now with Bellers, Petrov, Barry, De Jong, SWP, Vierra, Superman, and if needed Kompany. I will say though that out of those only Superman has that "special magic out of the blue" stuff so maybe you have a point but I'd still like us to work through it for this season.

so you are now suggesting we should change the playing staff and give him time
