Yes there are problems, its been doing my head in for days now. But come on, its not like Ric and his team get paid for the site or anything. They do it for nothing, so get off their case, they do a fuc*ing great job. I don't think when Ric started the site he had any idea how big it would become. Just hang fire, it will be sorted soon. (I hope!!)

Precisely like it or lump it folks. It's not like you pay a subscription ffs. Show some understanding.

I dont pay suscriptions for any of the sites / forums I visit, but they work very well. I am not being personal. However, Bluemoon needs to move onto the next level. Like I said earlier, if u think the adverts on here are put on for fre then u r wrong.

The amount they get from the minimal advertising on this site will not be a huge amount.

Most forums have much more advertising than this one and are worse to use because of it. The design of this forum is perfect too. The only problem at the moment has been the rapid increase in users. I'm sure Ric and co. are trying to sort it. There's no need to start getting all shirty. The admin and mods on this site make it easily the best designed forum I've seen.

Have you ever run any websites ?

Do you know anything about how these servers work ?

How much do you think it costs to rent a server ?

How much do you think internet adverts pay ?

Do you think City are involved in this site ?

You've had it explained here already.

The team that run this place (of which I'm one) do it for nothing, nobody, not even Ric takes a cent from the site, all money raised for adverts go towards the running cost, note the "towards" bit, that means what it says.

It annoys the cr@p out of me, when people criticise a website without knowing the facts. Damocles who is often on here balancing things out, has been away for reasons which he doesn't need to explain to anyone, and when he comes back he'll no doubt be spending half his life sorting out the problems, until then I suggest you learn to live with it.

How about subscriptions, if people paid a tenner per year, that could well help raise funds and meet the costs required to upgrade the technical side of the site.
