Getting giddy

I'm more giddy than Giddy McKipper on a roundabout. Wearing a jet pack.

Just wait 'til the wheels come off - there'll be hell to pay...

Getting giddy and rightly so. 7 wins on the bounce. Each feels better than the last.

last night we produced the best performance from a City team I have seen in Europe. We didn't just sneak it, we totally dominated one of the better teams in Europe. It was like watching Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern play. I thought after a very physically demanding Derby game, we'd have little left in the tank, and we'd have a really tough game, but we gave them a footballing lesson.

Perhaps we will get a rude awakening when we play barcelona, but we are progressing and remarkably quickly.

I just hope we can physically maintain this level of workrate and performance match by match. It's an absolute pleasure to watch. I still have this nagging feeling that whenever it gets this good, then something bad is around the corner so prove me wrong City.
This. Except the last bit. With Pepp nothing will go wrong. These are the day's football fans throughout the world yearn for. I for one are going to soak up every bit of it.

Football can still swing on stupid decisions and a fluke goal, deflection, moment of genius. Or the players collectively are off form. Manager's have some control, but not total.

Always happy when we win, but 7 wins on the bounce and this looks and feels like a new team playing football at a level we've not reached before.

I don't know whether this is a danger signal. As long as the players still have the capacity for the hard work that is necessary, we'll keep going.

And Jesus is yet to come at Christmas! Gabriel Jesus that is!!

Sure Marvin, thats was makes football so special. Over the course of a season though with Pepp at the helm not much will go wrong. Nothing we can't build on. I'm just so excited about our team and manager right now. Why wouldn't we....

People were getting giddy last season after 5 wins. Didn't someone start a 'could go undefeated all season' thread?

The only big game we've played so far was the Manchester United game, and we got away with it. Better finishing by them, and a fair referee would have seen us lose that game. However, it ended up being a massive result for us.

So, so getting giddy and just realised that it's us having our usual for start to the season........ let's hope we don't throw it away. Let's face it, Zlatan and Paul Pogba will only improve.....
