Ghost at work

Yeah I am similar, when I first worked at this palce a few things falling off sheves, doors randomly swinging open and the radio being switched off I put down to normal things like not being put on the shelf properly, a draught, a wonky socket etc, but as those who had worked there had had similar previous and ongoing shenanaghans happening my thinking changed.

I bave been alone stock taking in an empty room and someone knocks on the door, store room shelves pulled out, radios switched on and off and toilets flushing when the staff room is empty.

And it ain't just my staff, caretakers, maintanance, office and teaching staff all have stories of wierd stuff happening on the top floor and basement (basement were previously used as a mourge)

The odd thing you can explain away in your head like you did but this is consistent. Maybe call your local college/uni they’ll have a ghost society or similar who would love this, especially as it seems to happen a lot.

I keep debating spending a night here

Know a lad who previously worked at the old Ellen Wilkinson building on Hyde Rd as a caretaker, used to tell us about a female ghost on the first floor would speak to people passing by and switch off the lights if no reply, he seriously had this happen a few times so started saying good morning when he opened the building and went onto the floor as it happened to him, stopped after that.

There was also someone seen standing in a window on the 3rd floor randomly, plenty reported that but the room would be empty, the security firm employed to come out if the alarm went off had guards report back the same, used to shit them up when on call and turning up at 2/3/4am to see a figure looking out

We are based in an old Victorian firestation.
I was sat in the area where the fire engines would have been. Only me in the build and the floor was completely empty. A small Christmas tree light cover was thrown on the floor about 20 ft in front of me !. I was sitting on the box with the lights in !. No idea how that happen.

I have felt someone touch my shoulder and I jumped. My two work colleagues asked what's up ? I said something just touched my shoulder !

I have also seen an arm from a spit second on the stair banister.

We still hear footsteps and doors closing

I'll keep it to myself again, like i've done for years then.
Look were all grown ups here & I Think we can all have a serious conversation about these things............. Just dont let it give you the Willies! (snigger)
