Eddie has been great for us and it's been a pleasure seeing his fancy footwork and mad as fuck antics. He's brave as a lion and mad as a hatter but he's an average shot stopper, and terrible at saving pens. It seems he was tempted by Saudi money last summer but stayed. And this summer he said don't believe what's been said about his links to Galatasaray. I didn't make much of that as it feels like he's up to moving on.

Donna rum un Isnt anywhere near as good with his feet but regularly makes world class saves so I'd like us to sign him. Trafford is very promising and signed knowing he'll be an understudy and will get his chances when called upon. Ortega has been a decent keeper but never top class.. Makes sense to sign Donna rum un and sell Ortega I think.

Some Blues want us to go to Real Madrid away or Barcelona away with Trafford as our first choice GK LOL!

We all have high hopes for Trafford but he’s been playing Championship football. The jump from that to title-deciding matches, or big semi-final away nights in the CL is monumental. Some seem to think that having one season as backup to Eddie means that he’s then good-to-go and all risk has been removed. Trusting Trafford as our number one is a massive gamble, this year or next.

I reckon he was our first choice to replace Ederson, amongst the likes of Diogo Costa and that Spanish feller, and when we thought Ederson wasn’t leaving we pivoted to bringing in Trafford (accelerated by Newcastles interest) to rotate/ fight for number 1 alongside Ederson.

Now Galatasary seem to actually be making a move on Ederson, and Donnaruma could go to United, we’re forcing ourselves to go in for him.

How many other match winning saves can you name. I’ll will always love him for THAT night in Istanbul, but for me his head was turned last summer when he was lined up to go to Turkey and it never happened.

He helped in no small part to win four PL titles on the trot, I’m sure there’d have been a fair few match winning saves.
