Hopeless with his feet??

This might surprise you then.

I hope you are proven correct...I'll gladly eat a meal of fried crow if you are! My assumption at this point is that Pep is planning major alterations in our style of play. If so, it will be fascinating to witness.

If we don't get him this window I imagine a deadline day deal or loan somewhere else. PSG aren't going to let him rot on the bench with those wages and destabilize the dressing room

Hopefully we dont mess it up haggling over 5M. Seriously we're the new Tottenham with transfers, I get the need for sensible transfers but let's not be complete tight asses. We're now short on left and right back options because we can't find someone for $25 so let's get a f*cking keeper.

Agreed mate. I take regular breaks from here & it does me the world of good.

It also brings into perspective how pointless it is having your blood pressure raised by some faceless fan on the Internet, who you're never likely to meet in real life...

UNLESS that fan's the dude who was offering people out by PM's/DM's a few weeks ago! Lol :-)
You're a nice bloke. Someone less kind would have taken advantage of the Online Safety Act and had the GMP knocking on his door.

"They bring a knife. You bring a gun. That's the Chicago Way." :)

And before anyone overreacts I am not advocating calling the Plod on each other over stupid internet arguments.

Interesting

This stats indicate we are not worse off with keeping ederson at least for another year. In fact Ederson is the best keeper in the world. Specially if we have trafford we need to keep ederson. Donnarumma may need higher wages and is younger so will block our boy trafford chances of being the no 1.
One another plus Donna coming here is he wont be going to our rivals...

This is why we're probably holding off as long as possible trying to get the price down. If we're saying PSG will get so desperate they may loan him out and let him leave for free next summer then they'll certainly end up caving and accepting the 15m from us before they get to that option.

Donnarumma is my favoured solution.
I don't mind Ederson staying but I worry a little that if his heart is not in it, his performance may dip.
Trafford as No. 1 must be avoided this season.

If I knew Ederson was relatively happy to play 1 more season for City, I wouldn't worry. Had Ederson been available vs Spurs, then Frank would not have adopted the high press, and that game would have been entirely different.

My worry is that Pep might keep Trafford in goal for weeks until it is too late and the season is gone. What are we going to do at BHA if Trafford plays? They adopt a high press as part of their tactical approach.

The alleged threats were against other people mate, not me. I just found it hilarious that someone would message someone else to ask for their address so they could go round & duff them up over an online football disagreement! WTF! Looool :-)

Like most, I've had my moments on here, but they're always reactionary. Two eyes for an eye most accurately describes me! Lol ;-)

However, I try to treat people how I'd like to be treated, & interact with them as if I was face to face in public. It's easy to be a dick when hidden behind a keyboard & I'm certain 99% of people who act like one online, would behave completely differently in person. Alas, it's the downside of the internet unfortunately.

However, if it's one thing I've never been able to abide, it's bullies & their sycophants who willingly pile on, whether online or in real life. Thankfully, those days on BM about 10 years ago are long gone.

As for Richards30, he's evidently a decent fella & doesn't seem to have a harmful bone in his body. He's a credit to this forum & I love his enthusiasm & moodswings from zero to whizzing past the moon with excitement. He brightens up the forum with his wish to turn City into an unbeatable, Harlem Globetrotters type football team. Isn't that what we all secretly wish for? Lol :-)

To sum up, there are some people on BM who I seriously cannot take. I've never put anyone on ignore, but scrolling past their posts or replies isn't as hard as people may think. It certainly works for me & keeps the peace too.

If I can give a bit of advice, it would be to be nice & treat others as you want to be treated. Scroll past members who do your head in, & if they're triggering you, put them on ignore. Lastly, taking regular breaks from online activities & away from your devices, will bring you peace & also seriously improve your outlook on life. )(

if pep is going to keep trafford in net then he quite simply has to change the way we play and that means getting haaland involved, we have a 6ft 4 unit upfront, the fact that we are afraid to go long is maddening.

Mr Franks has adopted the high press against us for the last 3 seasons with Brentford with either Eddy/Ortega in the team .
Which suggest to me that he rumbled the way we play and the way to counter act it, irrespective of who the keeper is.

Many teams have rumbled how we play

Don't think it was ever a secret, teams always knew how we played. We were just that much better. And when we weren't we were more determined. And sometines just lucky enough. For various reasons, that has balanced out somewhat. We still have it in us though to be better again imo.

Please look at the penalty saving stats...
I am not wrong...
So many of us here are not confident with him regarding penalties...
Never understood the obsession with ederson and penalties. Only 8 keepers in the PL saved a penalty last season. We conceded 4 penalties last year. Even if ederson was fantastic at saving penalties, he might save us 1 goal per year.
