Gigs Thread

The last time I saw Body Count was with Janes addiction, Siouxsie and the banshese, Nine inch nails, Butthole surfers, Henry Rollins band, Living colour, Fishbone and the Violent fems.
Body Count, what a band.
Quick story, my mate went to see them during their first uk tour in Newcastle when he was a student, Ice-T had a row of bodyguards (or the syndicate as they were known) standing at the front of the stage, faces covered, with replica machine guns-probably toy guns, however he said it was intimidating & menacing as fuck.
He said it was the best gig he’s ever been to, not for the faint hearted tho!!

Kids are at the AO arena tomorrow for The 1975- floor standing cost an absolute fortune - had to go down the viagogo route as tickets sold out in about -1 seconds.

I’m there in June with my lad for Tool.

Surely there's more AC DC dates to be announced in England? Nine in Germany and only 2 over here! £350 for a standing ticket is crazy money, as if they need their pension pots topping up ! Lol

They were 120 for standing

Off to see The Smiths Ltd tonight in Holmfirth
Never seen them. Any good? We are going to see one in Warrington next week. These Smiths. Never seen them either but it’s local and £12 so worth a go.

Starts the ball rolling for the year for me gig wise.

Got Jake Bugg, Echo and Bunnymen and Starsailor in March.

The Bunnymen are playing a warm up show in Gloucester in front of 400. I’m at the much bigger Albert Hall which isn’t my favourite venue but for the Bunnymen it should be good.
