Gigs Thread

Got tickets for The K’s at Castlefield Bowl for next year and will probably go to watch Lottery Winners at Leigh Rugby.

Managed to get 2 tickets for Raye for my daughter’s birthday so she is made up with that.

Great gig, they were excellent. I’d heard that they play short sets and no encore and this was no different, clocking in at just an hour, but it was a belter. Highlights for me were an extended jam version of ‘Hot Penny Day’ and a storming set-closing ‘Magic of Meghan’. There were three new songs, which were all decent and notably, all featured backing vocals, which is a departure from the norm.

Excellent. Did Florence sing a bit on the new tracks?
