Managed to get tickets for Wythenshawe Park, Slowdive are excellent live.
Went to the Apollo on Saturday for the first time over 20 years to see Beta Band, great gig.
Off to see Amyl and the sniffers at Ally Pally in a couple of weeks. It's my first visit to the venue so any info with regards to pre gig pints would be greafully received.

Went to see Ethel Cain at the Apollo last Thursday, one of the best gigs I've seen in years. I've never been such an outlier age wise at a gig in my life, I'm 50 and most of the crowd were teens/early 20s, but enjoyed every second of it. A completely unique artist and the crowd was incredible. She sold out two nights at the Apollo and the atmosphere was electric. And off to see the wedding present friday, where i suspect i will fit right in age wise.

For anyone interested, recent tune

It's a longish story but I'll be going to see the Oh Hellos at Stubbs, Austin on November 14th. Anyone who can give me any handy advice about where to stay in Austin and how to get about the city, etc a PM would be very welcome.

Was at the Glasshouse last night. Hadn't been for years. My has it gone to the dogs. However, the sound was as good as always.
Suzanne Vega was brilliant. My only gripe was when she had a bit of a rant against Trump about a dozen people in the crowd booed. If you don't want to hear Americans complaining about their President do some research on the songs she is likely to perform and her political beliefs.
