Was one of the greatest most surreal days of my life. Firstly, I had a ticket to the game, but couldn't go as I was working at the War Child Charity gig at the Kentish town Forum that night. The only option was to watch the match across the road at the pub there. Long story short there were a few Millwall supporters at the bar. Got into a bit of verbals with them during the match, and in my semi drunk, young, dumb, and full of shit way, I decided to give them one last mouthful on the way out the pub. They came piling out the pub after me. Only just got across the road and past security at the Forum before the nasty fuckers could lay hands on me.
From there things got more weird more intense and more drunken. The celebrity match goers started turning up at the Forum one by one. Watched Noel Gallagher and Richard Ashcroft practice an acoustic version of Bittersweet Symphony in a dressing room. The last thing I remember is being sat with Liam Gallagher and Aziz Ibrahim with Liam signing the entirety of Standing On The Shoulder of Giants with his City scarf wrapped round his head. When I say sing it, I mean he said "d'you wanna hear the new album" before singing every song on it with no backing. Just him singing his own songs. Fucking hilarious and one of the greatest days/nights of my life.
