And as regards to a "family pet" whats wrong with rabbits,gerbils and hamsters etc to learn their feeling of responsibility

You missunderstand i was illuminating Paris Hiltons dog as an example of our breeding of dogs.
These toy dogs have all the attributes you see due to us.

A dog is better as it is smarter and hence more intuitive.
They stimulate you more than say a hamster for example.
You said you would go to a zoo to see animals so it seemed natural to think you wouldn't have pets for your kids.

That is assuming YOU class dogs as pets.Where as I class rabbits,hamsters,goldfish etc as pets.
I would put dogs[non working] in the same bracket as deer,donkeys.giraffes.antelopes,tigers,elephants,lions etc,etc,etcthe list is endless.All can be found at the ZOO.

People off the estate coming forwards now saying they knew there was a pack of dangerous dogs in that house, why didnt they inform the police or the RSPCA at least a visit from one of them would have been able to review the situation in that house, i know if someone had that many dogs barking day and night near me i would do something about it
