Girona FC (partnership)

That isn't a bad move for Aleix Garcia. Still not guaranteed a place but he will get more game time. They will still need a few more signings (hopefully with a couple more talented EDS players) to stay up.

Interested in Brahim Diaz too? Good to hear. If we sign Sanchez then maybe Roberts and Moreno too I think they'd all be great assets for Girona to have and we know they will be well looked after.

Like I said before Maffeo and A. Garcia are my top 2 choices to go there, looking likely now. Diaz has been mentioned as well, Roberts would be great, if he can even come close to replicating his form at Celtic his value will sky rocket.

girona is a beautiful place, it really is.
i often took the train to visit it when i lived over there.
it's well worth a day or two of anyone's time,
especially if you like bridges.

What are the rules in la liga for loaning players? Any limits?

Would like to see the three mentioned but also supplimented with some of the more estblished players that we cant shift e.g. Bony / Mangala / Nasri.. give them a chance of survival

I was secretly hoping that Aleix will have a bigger role next year, but given Yaya's resurrection and maybe Gundogan can kick it on too, there would be no point of him staying probably. Having Maffeo and Aleix there would be a fantastic opportunity, and could maybe determine whether integrate him in the first team squad when Yaya leaves.

@Afganitia, sorry, where do Girona supposters usually share their opinions? Is there a kind of official forum?

No, unfortunately. None of them are active. Some people tried to do one, but it was unsuccessful, as far as I know. Main reason why I lurk in several football forums, BTW.

As far as I know, none. I have seen teams with nearly 10 loans.

Second, you should remember Girona is one of the poorest teams in second division. In debt, and without any first division flight in their history. In 2012 the club was sold for 1 euro. In 2014-2015 season, the budget was 4 milions, the second lowest of second division. Don't expect us to pay the salaries of such players (or any players, really).

I don't have any confidence in staying in first division. I think we will be 18th at best next season if nothing special happens.
