give eastlands its kippax back, straw poll.

Name me a game with a good atmosphere when hardly any away fans have been there ?

There hasnt been one ............

That's because the only games to get atmosphere are the big ones, and there are always lots of away fans at those.

Three of the best atmospheres at Maine Road: Millwall home, Birmingham home last but one game of season 2000, Southampton last game at MR.

move the away fans to 111 and leaves people like me possibly having to move to a morgue part of the stadium...not happening...id despise to be anywhere else but south or east 110

anyway regarding the atmosphere....picture the atmosphere against hamburg.....so if were going to be near the top of the league then the atmosphere will follow e.g Arsenal at home....we've only played 3 home games with all our new players...west ham on a night game-hardly a time to soak up the beer and Wolves at home wasn't going to be the best.Guaranteed the atmosphere will come if we keep winning and our fighting top end of the table.

But you could just move to where the away fans are currently, so you'd be next to the away fans but also part of a much bigger, bluer south stand

the problem is the games like WEst Ham and Wolves, where there are two lots of a few hundred singing different songs at the same time, so the restof the ground doesn't join in.

then the fans closer to the other corner flag will end up sitting down.. im constantly stood up and would hate to move from my seat especially if i had no alternative than the first few rows etc in the south stand if they had to re locate.

Keep it how it is...this atmosphere will come....if were pushing that top 4 by xmas it will be immense

The Hamburg game is proof positive that when people want a good atmosphere they get one. Moving the away fans would be no quick fix and magically turn our ground into the loudest in the country.

They're fine where they are.

i agree...i dont think there is a better position for them really

no matter where you put them you will always be left with home fans on either side of them anyway
