the solution. move the 3000 away fans into the lower and middle tiers of the kippax or the main stand. 110/111 and the other block of the kippax next to 111 could go to the away fans. they could do that on the middle tiers as well, from the bend on the corner along the middle tier. the same could be done on in the main stand instead of the kippax. that way we would end up with a situation similar to spurs, who give the away fans the lower and upper(middle tier) at white hart lane. we could then move the home supporters from 110 and 111 into the current seats in the south stand occupied by the away fans. that way we would end up with the whole of the south stand, lower and upper, whilst still being next to the away fans, who would be penned in by the rest of the kippax, to there right(facing the pitch) and to the left(facing the pitch) by the whole of the south stand. imagine that. that would also mean the away team attacking both ends of coms full of city fans. in cup games when 6-7000 tickets are allocated, city could move the away fans into the third tier for one off cup games, just like united do at ot. (k-stand upper)
to be honest i can't undertand why any other sugestion/idea is being discussed. the above solution also means the away fans still have access to their coaches/coach park. the only thing that would change would be access to one of the spirralls. this would have to be given over to the away fans sitting in the middle tier. big deal.
come on city, it's an easy move to organise, with little or no problems. move the away fans a few blocks(3 or4) to the right into the kippax, keep the coaches where they currently are and give the current away end to us and make the lower and upper tiers of the south stand a whole end full of city fans. (simple)
bill i voted no move ... but i would vote yes if this is what was proposed
