give eastlands its kippax back, straw poll.

i really dont see the point in this at all. This season for the first time since we moved there we have made some serious and terrifying noise. Take the arsenal game, The city fans were really up for it at 1-1, started to make lots and lots of noise and the whole of the south stand was on there feet and everyone was singing. This is whats been missing since we moved and it is now starting to come together so why the hell move them. Also you cant move them to the 3rd tier as they will share the same exit/entrance as city fans in level 2

my view on this is sod the atmosphere, i want to take the obvious advantage we give the away team off them, moving their fans will do this, we'll all be together , city will do better and the atmosphere will return anyway.

ok to move them to 212 then?

The away fans need to moved, we need more atmosphere in COMS.
How does that work?...Half the people in the South stand don't sing as it is anyway..all you're going to do is have more people who stand there arms folded watching the game...you'll just end up with another north stand...quiet!
Stop kidding yourselves that the South stand will fill up with singers-it won't.
(Can someone find out what the waiting list is for season ticket moves to the South stand is?..btw.)
It's taken years for "ends" like the Holte end and the Kop etc to evolve..and for those of you that travel to Villa and Liverpool, can you honestly say that these "ends" are a great atmosphere??...I don't think so...well, apart from David Fooking Pleat and his love of the Kop on European nights that is!!
Away fans help create the atmosphere of a game..shoving them to another part of the ground will also put people already adjacent to this area off...they like it where they are...and then they'll move-to the South stand, where they will sit...all quiet as usual.
The only fair way to do this...and no disrespect to the unelected people who also attend along with elected reps via the supporters club branches..is to have a ballot, pure and simple, send every supporter a voting slip or give them a unique number to vote online.
Give the options that have been decided, ie, away fans in the gods, stay where they are, move them round a bit etc etc..that is the only fair way, and then it'll be democratically decided.
Why don't we ask the club to have a page in the programme or something on the wbsite about this?/...one person speaking FOR and one AGAISNT the idea
had to wait 1 season to get 5 season tickets together, just moved there this season, best thing we ever did. not sat down for a home game yet and lots of singing

Good idea to move the fans to the top tier - they will have much less influence on the game and any decisions from there OR leave them there but sound proof the stand
This would actually make them sound LOUDER as the roof will keep the noise in the ground even a few fans can make a big noise up there TV cameras might not to be able to see them but you will hear them.

Correct, the roof would amplify their noise. It would be a disaster.

I am on the tenth row of the third tier smack on halfway. Brilliant view. What will I get offered to beat that????

Leave them where they are.

This is my point...you had to wait just ONE season to get FIVE seats...This proves that there isn't that great a demand for people to move to the area with the best atmosphere anyway.
I could understand it if there were hundreds or thousands on a waiting list...but there aren't.

Cup matches are a problem. Where ever you put away fans you have to allocate larger no's. Against Scunny the SS have to relocate.
