Cheap seats?Aren't they building another 6,000 'cheap' seats?
Why would one purchase a cheap seat?

I go to games, I pay for a ticket. If we sell out EVERY game ticket prices go up. If we don't sell out except for the huge games they will most likely go down. I'd rather have the capacity to match demand for the huge games so every City fan can watch it.Whats the point in expanding to over 80k when we cant always fill what we have? Give me 45000 full every game and Ill be happy. Sick of seeing empty seats at every match.

I was replying to Peoffrey when he was talking about the gentrification of the club.Cheap seats?

As usual lets blame the fans, well done buddy.people overlook that fact mate as Mansour should be letting everyone in for free by the sounds of it!
Not taken it yet, letting the actuarial reduction go down a little.I was replying to Peoffrey when he was talking about the gentrification of the club.
Some people don't have you pension fella so can't afford an expensive seat.
You still working? Not taken it yet, letting the actuarial reduction go down a little.
With the new deal Premier League clubs got, if all the clubs gave all of their SeasonCards away for free they'd all still be making more money than they were from the previous deal.people overlook that fact mate as Mansour should be letting everyone in for free by the sounds of it!
Oh for modern football to have this as part of it and not all this corporate bullshit

No one I have spoken to in 126 wants cheap seats.
No worries mate.not at all squirty mate as without any of the fans over the years the club wouldn't be here and the shifting around of longstanding ticket holders at short notice is not fair either! just maybe the club should have more communication with you guys about the plans, even maybe upgrade your seat if possible in the short term to help? maybe though this new hospitality drive is so the north stand expansion can take place and make standard prices even cheaper to fill the ground constantly? communication should be a lot better and didn't mean any offence mate to you or any other city fan!

I don't get this stupid paranoia around empty seats. 54k with 1k empty seats is better than a 45k sell out.

I'm not talking about those being moved, what City have done their is shit. Two thoughts on this one for me. They're presently in the Colin Bell Stand because they can afford it so cheap seats aren't required. Are they developing the family stand for a third tier? I hadn't heard. Also, a nice "experience" from the 1st tier alongside the pitch isn't replicated by Row JJ behind the goal in the third tier.

It was your wider point on the gentrification of the Etihad when we are going to have more low cost seating than before.
Got an email yesterday about it.I've heard from the 2nd Jan players will enter/exit pitch via the access tunnel to allow the renovations to properly kick in and this will remain in place for remainder of season. Anyone else heard this?
Yet another example of the club veering towards the fans with the deepest pockets than the deepest loyalty.
This sort of thing may look nice, but it's quite simply not what going to football matches is supposed to be about (but sadly is).
If somebody gave me the money for this or 93:20 I still wouldn't go there...
