Glastonbury 2023

I didn't see much of it, but what I did see I enjoyed. Arctic Monkeys on Friday night, Cat Stevens earlier today, and Elton John tonight was brilliant.

I don't know who the huge guy in the pink suit was who came on and sang a song with him, but he was enjoying his time on stage. Quite a personality.

In my mind, it's the happiest end to Glastonbury I have seen. Good on you, Elton. Two and a half hours of absolute pleasure.

Fucking hell how come some of the artists sounded crap ie blondie and Axl, thought Cat stevens Elton and the pretenders and Rick were worth paying the ticket price,

Just watching Rick Astley and the Blossoms doing The Smiths, I saw a couple yesterday, but watching the full set now.

So very well put together, I'm not a fan of Rick Astley, but they both nailed it, really enjoyed it.
Astley murdered most of the set,but it was still a brilliant watch.

Elton John was a bit of a let down, gotta take his age and physical condition into account, but many of his songs were rushed and lacking the quality he used to display - a lack of an encore was also disappointing and clearly a surprise.

Elton John was a let down in the same way City only winning 3 trophies this season was.... He smashed it out of the park.
