The bloke who attacked the keeper could of had a knife, the goalkeeper was defending himself.

I see nothing wrong here, the ref sending him off is a bit OTT.










If the ref was attacked and he kicked out at the fan, who would send him off? lol

The Dutch FA have rescinded the red card shown to the keeper. Common sense has prevailed.

Excellent - the ref was a wanker sending the keeper off and the manager did absolutely the right thing, as did the Dutch FA for rescinding the red card

Keeper didn't need to kick the second time, but why is he going to show a complete t*ss*r who's trying to ruin the game any compassion. There is the thing about not hitting people on the floor in fights, but when somebody is as cowardly as that fan, an exception can be made.

Imagine the keeper went to ground, I guarantee the fan would've kicked him!

In law i do know you can have some "thing" i forget the terminology where if the aggressor is still capable of attack you have a very very good case of getting a ruling in your favour. It is to do with the shock you recieved via being attacked and personal safety.
