I take on-board all the 'what if' comments, and I can understand him booting him once, but it's that second one which is out of order. I've been a victim of being kicked whilst down, albeit in the head so is 10 times worse. What I remember though is feeling helpless as fuck and afterwards as I nursed bust up lips and an eye I could barely see out of I thought about how much of a shit-head act that was for him to do that. I see the difference, the fan looked crazed and like he could get up, whereas I was out of it and no threat whatsoever. I've always regarded booting a man when he's down as one of the biggest acts of shit-headery there is since then and that second boot, to me, was unnecessary.

and the game is abandoned when the manager brings the team off after the keeper is sent off!!!
Think the keeper didnt need to kick him so much but was right in defending himself first

Once he broke the invisible barrier between seating area & pitch he was fair game. He got what he deserved. If he never TRESPASSED onto the pitch he wouldn't have had to be worried about getting booted while down.

Why is the ref such a big ****? It's the rules of the game, just like when players get sent off for tackling streakers on the pitch!

The Dutch FA actually rescinded the suspension for the player which I believe contradicts the laws of the game...

Shocking lack of common sense from the referee.

Keeper didn't need to kick the second time, but why is he going to show a complete t*ss*r who's trying to ruin the game any compassion. There is the thing about not hitting people on the floor in fights, but when somebody is as cowardly as that fan, an exception can be made.

Imagine the keeper went to ground, I guarantee the fan would've kicked him!

i dont think he should, he didnt stamp on his face or anything, the guy fkn attacked him from behind! all he did was kick him a bit, he could of got up and tried again!
