Going Dutch

Not sure about Sneijder, granted he's got a great cross on him which remarkably with the calibre of players we've got we seem to be lacking. Don't think we need any more "superstars" in our team. A sensible signing like Eljero Elia who's requested a transfer from Juventus would make sense whilst adding pace and width to our team.

We're fighting on four fronts next year. Without raising expectations/ sounding arrogant, I think the owner/management will be looking at retaining the title; winning a cup; and making a fist of it in the Chumps League. For that we need a wonderfully strong squad. Our squad is very good, but we need one or two additions to take us to the level required to achieve the above stated goals.

RVP is a wonderful talent. Sneijder looked impressive at the Euros. Big money players with big egos, but we're used to that!

I suspect a factor in all our transfer ambitions is El Apache; tolerated by all concerned at the moment, but if we can move him on then I suspect we will, thereby freeing up wages and assisting with future purchases.

We obviously need to shift out the dead-wood too! Ade, Crockey, Bridge, Kolo et al.

I'm pretty relaxed about the summer activity; we're in good hands blues.

But remember our squad is stronger than last season because Tevez is now available, and Balotelli has improved and will surely not miss so many games through suspension.

Young players who were around the fringe of our squad may also make the step up

And Yaya will not leave for the Africa Cup next year, right?

A motivated and determined Tevez is the best striker option we could ever wish for, so yes having him around for the entire next season will make us stronger.

We still need to find a way to penetrate parked buses, something we will come up against again and again.. but that's more a tactical problem than a question of player material. I hope Mancini and his staff have worked on this.

The ACON is in Jan 13, so he will once again be gone during next season...

I see... I just thought I had heard something from Yaya saying he would take a break from ACON 2014, but I could very well be wrong.

It looks like he is thinking about it:

dont see the point in buying either really, we already have four world class strikers why do we need another one, especially when we already have one of the brightest young prospects in europe in Guidetti.

We already have lots of midfielders with alot of quality already there, unless were gonna sell silva or completley drop nasri Sneijder doesnt really make any sense,

People say that we would rotate nasri, with silva and Sneijder, but if you look at our team last season Mancini doesnt rotate even in cup games really, if your good enough your in the team week in and week out.

Mancini couldn't rotate Silva because nobody was good enough to replace him. I doubt we are after Sneijder but if we were, it would enable us to rest Silva & have him fully fit every time he plays rather than being dead on his feet like he was for half of last season.

It's essential we get another player in that area imo.

I also doubt that we are in for Wes but ideally we'd have another option in that area for rotation of players. Also, we don't really have anyone who is truly suited to the regista role and it is an option that would be useful; Sneijder can play that role.

Its pretty well known that Van Persie and Sneijder can't stand the sight of each other. Ever since their Feyenoord and Ajax days.

have ppl forgotten how good aguero and tevez are together? pair that with silva it doesnt matter who else is playing in the midfield. those three are world beaters, i honestly dont see the need for either of these players ESPECIALLY if we retain all our current players it really is just excess.
